What kind of things do you write (fiction/non-fiction, poems/short stories/novels, etcetera)?
Short stories and poetry. I don't have enough focus to write a novel!

I do, but I only have pictures from chicago on it. I have too many photos for all of them to be in my photostream. I need a pro account, but I can't justify the $25.

Yes, I'm still 19. I'm pretty good about updating things, so my next birthday I will be turning 20.
And thank you! I really loved the layout you're speaking of (Changeling), but it was time for something fresh, so I've made something new. I don't know if I like it as much as the last one, but it'll do for now. Don't be surprised if you see the old one come back with a refreshed look ;)

Tips for beginners? Learn how to write CSS and X/HTML correctly. It will save you headaches. Don't be afraid of looking into the documents on w3.org; I know they're daunting, but really, they're not too bad once you get past the mumbo-jumbo.
Also, don't use internal styling. Like font tags. It makes me want to kick things. Hard.
As far as design goes... don't go crazy. Don't be trendy. Look for inspiration. Also, submit your site for review so people who have a good idea of what they're talking about can help you. I personally recommend checking out rev.iew.me. Just don't get your feelings hurt. People who whine are lame.

What's your favorite artistic movement?
Impressionism. Probably because it's the only form of painting I'm relatively good at. But really, most of my favorite paintings are from this era, as well as post-impressionism (Matisse and such).
