What's your favorite artistic movement?
Impressionism. Probably because it's the only form of painting I'm relatively good at. But really, most of my favorite paintings are from this era, as well as post-impressionism (Matisse and such).

What ask and answer script is this? :) Cool site
It's BellaBuzz, and you can download it from Jemjabella.co.uk. It's located on the scripts page. You can also go to my "GD(org)" section and scroll down to the page that lists the things I use to keep the site plugging along; it's listed there. I pretty much use Jem's scripts exclusively :) They're great, tidy, little things that do just the trick.

Thanks for your compliment!! :D

You're only 18? Wow, now I feel old! How are you so grown-up for a teenager?
More life-experience than any normal 18-year-old should have. Trust me :[

Do you have any major regrets?
...interesting question.

No. Because at one time, anything I could regret was exactly what I wanted.

There's a Vancouver in the states? Tell me more!
Yes, there is, in fact! It's actually a 5 hour and 7 minute drive from the Vancouver that everyone actually knows about in Canada. For me, though, it's a 2-3 month drive, because I don't have a passport, and that's how long it takes to get one.

This Vancouver is the last major city before you cross the bridge to Portland, OR. Portland is an absolutely AWESOME city. It's really cool, has a great vibe. Oregon also has no sales tax, and there's a Saks Fifth Avenue downtown... I mean, what more could a girl ask for, am I right?

Vancouver in itself is nondescript. It's a city area. I've not been to the downtown area yet, but I don't imagine it's all that interesting. Boyfriend and I were planning on heading up to the real Vancouver, but then didn't get around to filing the information for our passports.

Are you religious at all?
Um. Quick answer? Not really.

I was raised Catholic, and while I enjoyed the tradition and how deeply devout people can be, and the mysticism and history... I guess I just don't buy it. I can't grasp the idea of God as a human like us.

I view God more as an organic sort of thing... a force, if you will. The ordered chaos that keeps this universe spinning, that created everything, that will ultimately destroy everything. I don't the force is even aware of its own existence... it just is. I think the notion of God is a very powerful thing to consider, and in order to make it easier to relate to, humans... humanize it. It's like us speaking to dogs as if they can understand us, or say that they're smiling... we personify them, so we can relate to them. Not that I'm saying God is anything to be compared to a dog.

However, I really love the Hindu religion, the idea of Karma, reincarnation, and Shiva is probably my most favorite God.

You say you've lived in a bazillion places. Where else?
Oh goodness. I thought it was more info than necessary! Well, I was born near Washington, DC, and I lived in a few towns in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. My first house was in Hanover, MD. From there I moved to north New Jersey, which was not far at all from New York City. From there, we moved to Baltimore, MD, which is where I call home, because that's the longest I've ever lived in one place (seven years, two different houses). THEN, we moved to western North Carolina in a little town outside of Asheville. I went to high school there, and now I go to school in Clemson, SC, so I guess you could say I've lived in South Carolina, now that I spent most of the year there.

And this summer (that'd be 2008, for future reference), I'm living in Vancouver, WA with my boyfriend. It rains a lot.

This is all in the US, mind. Never been to another country.

And yeah. The end.

Where did you find all those beautiful flowers?
Right in downtown Chicago! You'd be surprised at how green the city is. They have the most gorgeous flower beds I've ever seen. There are two or three headers that feature the same picture, just from a different spot, but you'd never be able to tell.
